Prayer Request for Cindy
Last Saturday night, our children’s pastor, Cindy, came home from a retreat with the children of the church. She had been complaining of pain in the back of her neck all weekend, and the pain finally became so bad that her husband drove her to the hospital late Saturday night, where emergency surgery was performed in the early hours of the morning to remove a blood clot from the base of her brain stem. The surgery went well, but Cindy has been in a coma ever since, and an MRI has revealed damage to critical areas of the brain. Doctors are saying at this point that the best case scenario is that she will regain some motor function.
At this point, it looks like God’s intervention is her only hope. In the words of Jars of Clay, higher mountains have come down. We are praying and believing for a complete healing and restoration, and I know that her family would appreciate any prayer they can get.
