Do you ever think about why disease conditions are rising at an alarming rate and why children are getting disorders like cancer, diabetes, ADD, asthma and many others at younger and younger ages?

So what is the cause, could it be that the cause for every disease is similar? Let’s take a closer look.
There are several factors and many of these factors are in your hands, you can control them.
Disease – is any abnormal condition of the body or mind that causes discomfort, dysfunction, or distress to the person affected.
* Heart Disease is the leading cause of death in America
National Center for Health Statistics
* Arthritis incidence expected to rise 40% as “Baby Boomers” age
Centers for Disease Control
* Autoimmune Diseases affect 1 out of 5 people in U.S.A. American Autoimmune Related Disease Association
* Cancer is the second-leading cause of death in U.S.A.
National Center for Health Statistics
* Multiple Sclerosis affects over 300,000 Americans
National MS Society
* Pharmaceutical Drugs account for 100,000 deaths and $136 billion in medical costs each year in U.S.A.

Too many people are relying on their doctor to fix them, too many people are waiting for a symptom before they are concerned about it.
There are many people out there who do not exercise either due to motivational problems or ignorance of what is actually required in terms of time invested to achieve meaningful results. They rationalize for this by making excuses about not having enough time or not being able to afford a gym membership or exercise equipment.
This simply is not true.
The amount of training time necessary to dramatically improve ones physical condition is far less than what most people have been led to believe; at the most one hour to an hour and a half per week, and in many cases considerably less. There are few people, if any, who can not schedule 30 to 90 minutes of their time each week for something so important.

Can’t afford it?
Wrong. You can’t afford not to exercise. A mini trampoline is an excellent way to get your cells moving!
Who is paying the price for being sick?
You are, your family is, your friends, your co-workers, your neighbors and every other person you can think of.

Should I take a vitamin tablet or some kind of dietary supplement every day? Can I get everything I need from the foods I eat?
Answer: Rather than “yes” or “no,” the best answer is “maybe.” Review studies have not shown that taking daily multivitamin supplements will prevent any chronic disease. However, taking supplements will help ensure you are getting enough of nutrients that may be missing from your diet.

Eating a healthy, well-balanced diet should provide you with all of the individual nutrients you need. Not everyone has a good diet so some of those nutrients might be deficient. For example, a person who hates fruits and vegetables might not get enough vitamin C and someone who refuses to eat dairy products will frequently need extra calcium.
Taking a daily multivitamin is an inexpensive and easy way to be sure you are getting the vitamins and minerals you need. A few individual dietary supplements have been shown to have positive benefits for your health too…

There’s no substitute for water!

Beverages that simply contain water aren’t good enough. juice, soda, tea, coffee etc. counter the positive effects of water; some, in fact, may also be unhealthy. For example, drinks containing caffeine stimulate your adrenal gland and dehydrate and rob your body of important vitamins and minerals. Beverages containing lots of sugars stimulate the pancreas, boosting your insulin levels and taking your body out of its natural fat burning state.
Sodas are a quadruple whammy. Colas, in particular, contain caffeine, sugar, sodium and acid that could eat through a dime. Have you ever tried the household remedy to a calcium and lime rusted toilet? Just let a bottle of soda sit in the toilet for a bit and presto — a sparkling toilet! I’m not saying that you should completely eliminate these drinks from your diet. However, you may want to replace them with water whenever possible and at least keep them at a low to moderate level.

With today’s economic uncertainty, it has become crucial to save money any way we can. Normally, eating healthy seems to be a bit more expensive than “average Joe’s” weekly trip to the grocery store.
So, can we still eat healthy and save money? Here is a good article with some suggestions:

Bring on the fruits and vegetables! The good Lord has provided man with wonderful, delicious, healthy and clean foods. The less we process them the better! Lean meats are a great source of protein and should be consumed sparingly with a thankful heart.
Peace & Blessings,
James
